The gameplay based on the classic click'n'point interaction and almost all puzzles are inventory based. The voiceovers are all fine except Tim who sounds a bit... dull. Almost all his voiceovers are done in the same tone so it sounds a bit out of place at some points.The game will be easy for any player that usually plays these type of games and you can easily finish it in 5-7 hours. The story is good - it starts slowly but it picks up later with all the murders. Even though I've read most of the reviews for this game, and even though they all gave it a pretty bad score - the game really is good.However - the end of the game is really rushed. It does make sense, but the way it's presented is far from what it should be for this type of game. Also - you'll spend the last 30min of gameplay just going from location to location in a very speedy way because (i guess) devs ran out of time or money to make it interactive. The story at that point just rushes up till the point where the detective literally explains everything to you, what was really going on and who was behind the murders. The bad thing about it is that most of the info was never present in the game, or was mentioned very vaguely.All in all - it's a good game and I recommend it to all adventure lovers. I like this game, however it is rather unfortunate and annoying how it forces you to be heterosexual. it doesn't let you explore your sexuality at all. That's not realistic.. Seems like a good game at first, graphics are ok, the setting is quite dark and mysterious but all of this can't hide the fact that this game is bad. The puzzles are easy (too easy for most people) and the story ends when it gets exciting. Unless there is follow-up to this game i can only say: stay away from this game, it's not worth it.. It might have been a really nice game, but it isn't. I'm giving it "no" just because this game was irritating me a lot of times.What that means?The whole game I was waiting for something to happen and when I thought that it is starting to be interesting and had hopes for something greater... The game ended in a really poor manner. The plot is somewhat disappointing. You go through it looking for something which should feature it amongst a lot of similar games, but you won't find it here. It's just another point and click mystery game with irritating accents like:- places too dark to see some little piece without which you can't progress further- going backwards and searching the same places, because you missed something... and that's happened to me some times when I was forced to search through a walkthrough to find a solution- not skippable locations through which you must pass to go to the desired placesBut those are problems of a tons of other poorly designed point and clicks, right?I wouldn't be so disappointed if the plot wasn't that poor. You expect something more exciting and you find only a repetitive game. Pity.5\/10 and negative opinion. Sorry game. You tried.. Decent point & click adventure game with a storyline that is nice but could have been great if only the developers had more imagination. For the die-hard-old-fashioned adventure gamers this one's too easy. No difficult puzzles or intricate inventory combinations that might have kept you on your toes. The ending is a bit boring, clearly set up for a sequel which was never made (at least I haven't been able to find it anywhere on internet). I'd rate this average to poor if I had to pay full price, but since I got it for a low price it was nice and gets my thumbs up.. I love point & click adventures and I don't mind a mediocre one noew and again, but this ...+ decent voice acting (even if the accents seem overdone at times)- both characters are utterly unlikable and without depth. If you're going to have two characters, why make them both egoistical a***holes?- PC\/NPC actions and interactions not at all believable.- slooow story. Maybe it picks up later, but 5 hours in it's just plain boring- puzzles, what there is of them, don't make sense at all. The game is utterly linear, you can't even pick up items until you've progressed to exactly the right point. Good puzzles seem logical after the fact, if not before, here it's just one WTF moment after the other. Also, having solved them, you should feel some sense of achievement, but in this game the tasks are just too mundane for that.I'm not at all sure if I'll be able to bring myself to finish this ... stay away.. A very good adventure game with great story and unusual ending.+atmospheric moody graphics+good music holding tense+strongly outlined characters+not-naive story-not always so intuinive, i got stucked few times-sometimes boring - you have to go from person to person few times to get somethingOverall: 8\/10 - one of the best adventures games that i have played.. Some required interactions require a specific order which is totally contrary to the natural playing instincts of the player and make no sense. For example, you may come into a room, look at everything, talk to everyone and be stuck only to find out later you did those actions in a "wrong" order where had you talked to one character then looked at another then talked to the first character again the game would continue. There are multiple instaces where you are expected to interact with an object twice even though the first interaction doesn't lead you to believe there would be any reason for this.. grab it on sales. I almost recommended the game until the last 15 minutes before the ending... the graphics, music, gameplay, dialogues are just what I desired in a point&click adventure game, and the story is really captivating. However, when you ruin an ending in any kind of storytelling, you basically dismiss all the process of getting there.
